Overview
As part of Freepik Company’s internal design team, I developed a series of premium posters exploring Cyberpunk and Futuristic Technology themes. The goal was to expand the high-end asset library with visually striking content focused on the idea of cybernetic optics is the intersection of human perception and machine intelligence. The collection consists of three poster designs, each built around a hyper-realistic synthetic eye as the central visual anchor, targeting the growing demand for sci-fi and tech-driven digital assets.
Challenge
The project required a careful balance between realism and graphic impact. The robotic eye needed convincing metallic textures and luminous glow effects while remaining bold and readable at different sizes. Integrating futuristic typography without overpowering the detailed illustration was another key concern. In addition, the series had to feel like a cohesive campaign under a fictional future-facing brand, Wired Vision, rather than a set of unrelated visuals.
Solution
I established a strong visual system using a neon electric blue and metallic silver palette to create a sterile, high-tech atmosphere. Geometric compositions with industrial frames and hexagonal patterns reinforced the sci-fi aesthetic and structured the layouts. Typography was treated as a dynamic element, including a wrap-around ribbon effect that encircles the eye to add depth and motion. Short philosophical taglines were introduced to give the posters a narrative layer, making them feel conceptual and story-driven.
Results
The final posters proved highly versatile, with global users adopting them for electronic music covers, tech event promotions, and digital wallpapers. The collection set a strong quality benchmark for vector-based assets on the Freepik platform, highlighting advanced lighting and texture work. Despite varied compositions, all three designs share a consistent visual DNA, allowing users to choose different layouts while maintaining a unified, premium look.
