Overview
Nutrition Geeks commissioned me to design a set of static performance ads for their Collagen Glow Up powder. The campaign targeted the “modern busy woman,” balancing career, family, and personal health. Two distinct visual directions were created, one focused on vitality and empowerment, and the other on convenience and lifestyle.
Challenge
The collagen market is highly saturated and often relies on narrow, beauty-only messaging. The challenge was to communicate both aesthetic and functional benefits, while addressing a common objection around powder supplements: perceived difficulty of preparation. The design needed to demonstrate simplicity without resorting to generic instructional visuals.
Solution
I developed a dual-concept approach built around lifestyle mirroring. The first concept uses a dynamic image of a professional woman in a yoga pose to symbolize strength and balance, supported by a bold layout and trust markers to reinforce credibility. Messaging connects beauty benefits with joint and mobility support. The second concept focuses on relatability, using a warm, everyday moment between a working mother and her child. A conversational text treatment and clear callouts such as “one scoop a day” and “easy to mix” address convenience in a soft, non-salesy way.
Results
The campaign expanded the brand’s reach across multiple audience segments. The empowerment-focused ad resonated strongly with fitness-oriented users, while the lifestyle version drove higher engagement among parenting demographics. By presenting the product in two real-life contexts, the ads strengthened brand recognition while offering distinct emotional entry points to the same product.
