Role
Internal Graphic Designer at Freepik Company
Category
Print, Poster, Outdoor
Industry
Tech. & Creative Services
Overview
As part of the expansion of Freepik’s Employer Branding category, I created a complete visual identity package for StarX, a fictional tech startup. The project focused on delivering cohesive internal communication assets and merchandise designs, including office posters and sticker sets, to help users portray a modern, energetic, and fun workplace culture.
Challenge
The main challenge was designing corporate materials that feel professional without falling into typical motivational clichés. HR-driven messages needed to sound natural and engaging rather than instructional. The sticker designs also had to feel like authentic tech swag, objects people would genuinely want to use while maintaining visual consistency across very different scales, from wall posters to small merchandise.
Solution
I developed the StarX identity around a “Modern Tech Playground” concept. The posters rely on bold sans-serif typography and minimal, expressive vector illustrations to communicate values quickly and inclusively, supported by a blue-based palette with bright accent colors. For the sticker collection, I shifted toward a streetwear-inspired, internet-savvy aesthetic, using die-cut shapes and themes familiar to tech culture such as coffee, coding, and ideas. Both formats share the same visual language to ensure brand cohesion.
Results
The StarX branding kit delivered a flexible, all-in-one solution for employer branding needs. Users could easily combine posters and stickers to build a complete internal brand experience, while the stickers also functioned as standalone visual pieces. Clean, editable templates made the assets adaptable to different companies, reinforcing their practicality and appeal within the Freepik library.
