Overview
To meet the demand for more contemporary educational assets, I designed a premium trifold brochure for Freepikās Education category. The goal was to move beyond conservative academic visuals and create a forward-looking template suited for tech universities, international colleges, and innovation-driven institutions.
Challenge
University brochures are inherently content-heavy, requiring the presentation of programs, values, and career outcomes within a limited space. The challenge was to structure dense information into a clear, readable flow while avoiding the rigid, outdated feel of traditional academic prospectuses and appealing to a Gen Z audience that favors modern, visually engaging design.
Solution
The design is built on a modular grid system that breaks information into scannable sections. A deep royal blue base establishes academic credibility, while vibrant gradients and geometric accents introduce a sense of innovation and momentum. Content is organized across front and inner panels with strong typographic hierarchy, and photography is integrated into the grid using geometric masks to add movement. Supporting graphic elements, such as wireframe globes and directional shapes, reinforce the theme of global opportunity without relying on excessive text.
Results
The final brochure balances institutional authority with youthful energy. Its grid-based structure allows readers to quickly locate key information, while the flexible color blocks make brand customization simple. Overall, the design positions institutions as future-focused and globally minded, standing apart from more traditional academic materials.
